It is Tuesday and time for another
Anita Be Stampin Challenge. This weeks challenge is a color inspiration challenge. This color challenge came from Rachel's shirt. Teal Blue, Smokey Plum, Purple, and Sage Green. Here is Rachel's Shirt!!
I wanted to do something a little different this week. So I printed off
Meadow and colored her up. I have had this large letter "P" hanging on my board in my craft room for well over a year. My oldest Granddaughter is named Peighton and I bought this on clearance one day and had not done anything with it yet. I thought she would love Meadow so I painted it with a smokey plum color, added some paper that I have had in my stash forever that fits the color scheme and mod podged it on. I added some iridescent medium to Meadow's wings as well as some of the flowers on the paper.
Only thing is, this thing is hard to photograph!! I also made a huge mistake, I had the image completely colored and cut, and I messed up her eye and couldn't fix it. So, I decided to pop dot her face, add another wing and make the image 3-D as well. I had spent way too much time coloring to throw it away!!
I added some Wild Orchid flowers, some Recollection flowers from M's and here it is!! I hope Peighton likes it. I have a feeling she will. She is a girlie girl that will be 5 next month.
I hope you can find some time to play along this week. You can find all these gorgeous fairies over at the
Anita Be Stampin Store. We only need one more member over at
Papercraftplanet to get another free digi image. There are 2 there now. See, no reason why not to enter the challenge this week!! And we are getting ready for another release later on this week so I hope you will come on back later to check out my projects!
Remember this is my second post today, check out my earlier post for the Outlawz Color challenge. As always, thanks for stopping by today!
