Tuesday Color Challenge at the Outlaws Christmas in July

Over at the Color Challenge we have decided to do a Christmas in July challenge.  Each of the challenges will post at least one Christmas in July challenge this month.  Please know that when we say Christmas in July, if you celebrate Kwanzaa, or something else we want you to play along as well!

I love this combo.  I used the inspiration photo and used the red, white, snowflakes.  The Juicy July twist is to add stickles.
The sentiment is from Amy R Stamps Holiday Greetings from All That Scraps.  I just love these sentiments.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch and her snowflake punch.  I also used a nesties butterfly.   The paper is Holly Jolly from My Mind's Eye.  And do you see that little snowflake charm?  I used stickles on the butterfly as well as some of the snowflakes. Some of the snowflakes are done with glitter.  Just so that they are not all exactly alike.
This card was fun to make.  I think it is clean and simple.  The thing I love about a color challenge is that you don't have to use copics or prismas or any other mediums.  You can do other techniques as long as you go with the colors!
There is the stickles.  And of course a peak at the inside.
Now, I know when you enter challenges you like a good prize, so our sponsor this month in the color challenge is Happiliegh Scrappin Store.  Next week I will showcase one of their fabulous images.
And don't forget that Oozak has a gift certificate for $50.  Who doesn't want that?!!  Especially with the price of Copics going up.

I am going to add this to the following challenges:
Corrosive Challenge ~ Use red and white
Our Creative Corner ~ Christmas or 4th of July
The Stampsmith challenge ~ Christmas

Christmas is my favorite, favorite, favorite! Too bad I can't sit down to make anything right now. Soon though! It's almost August! (I'm due with my 5th baby August 21st and I can't sit up much right now because I pass out) Too bad, I could pop out Christmas crafts like it's my job!
