I used some ivory lace and then sewed some sheer ivory over top of that. I used the Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio Two for the sentiment.
I used my sewing machine for two steps with this card. Both around the designer paper as well as to gather the sheer ribbon over the lace. I used Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut stain to edge the ribbon tag. The challenge was black and white so I kept it that way for the front of the card but added a little pop of color to the inside with Spellbinders butterfly. The ivory paper was cut out with a Martha Stewart around the edge punch.
Thanks as always for stopping by, I love company!!

Oh my goodness this is beautiful!!! I love the papers you used! I have drooled over that pad at M's but so far have resisted the urge. You used one of my favorite sentiments from that set too! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Stampin Sisters in Christ!
Brenda, that is so pretty, I love the black and ivory print you chose and the stamp is divine, I hope you win, this card is stunning.

Bren, this is just gorgeous. So elegant. I love the stitching and how you layered and bunched the ribbon and lace. Love the pop of color on the inside, too. Just wonderful!
Oh Brennnnn...so pulled on my heartstrings - that sentiment is utterly amazing and so profound. Absolutely stunning papers and love the rouched ribbon - perfection!
