Anita Be Stampin Challenge #9

It's Tuesday and time for another Anita Be Stampin Challenge. This week we are working on a sketch from Anita.  I had so much fun with these images this week.  I chose to play with Rosie Shops.  Those who know me, know I love to shop.  But I don't shop for clothes or shoes as much as I do for stamping, crafting supplies any more!!!  My husband would say I am a collector, or perhaps a hoarder of crafting supplies. I just had a visual of one of those Hoarders shows, but I am stuck in my craft room surrounded by paper!  And flowers, and stamps, and charms, etc. You get the picture!!  I am sure if you are reading this you know what I am talking about!! LOL.
Check out this awesome sketch!!!  I can't believe how fun it is to use a good sketch. I am used to sitting down and trying to design my own, it can go so fast with a good sketch!!!!  Instead of using ovals on my card I decided to use the Spellbinders Label #14.  And I used some of my all time favorite paper!!  I just love this paper from DCWV.  I found this paper in the little 4X6 paper pack and quickly used it all up.  I searched all my local stores, and believe me none of them are local. I have to go 25 miles to my closest Michaels, and 40 miles to the Craft Warehouse and there are no LSS here!  When I did hit those stores they didn't have it in stock.  I was whining (yes, whining) to my girls over on Scrapbook.com and my girl Gina found it at her LSS and sent it to me!!  Now that is a lot of work to get the perfect paper!!!  But I got to use it on my card today!!
Now, isn't that the perfect paper for today's image?  Love it!!  All the paper is from this same pack All About Girls.
I inked all the edges with Smokey Plum ink by CTMH.  A sheer silver ribbon and shoe charm finish off the card.
I stamped one of the shoes from the set and added glossy accents for a little extra on the inside.
Today I have 2 posts for you, I hope you can check out my other card for my Outlawz post today as well.  As always thanks for stopping by, I love to have you visit!!!

This is so adorable, Brenda! It sounds like we have the same "problem" with shopping and hoarding craft supplies. LOL That paper is absolutely perfect. Love it! :)

Of course, you had to have more of that paper. You do such amazing things with it, and it's so YOU! Now I just wish I could find even more, and that it did not cost an arm and a leg to get it to you. What is up with that, anyway? Our USPS costs are ridiculous. Anyway, great card. I love the sentiment! You always make the inside of your cards look so pretty, too. It's like a little surprise when you open it!

I agree with Gina on the insides. I always am trying to leave this huge white space for people to write on that My insides are pretty boring. Yours are always daring and outside of the box. Love that. I also agree that this paper is PERFECT with this stamp set. You rocked it!

I love this paper too. But only found it in the 4x6. Looked for the bigger and haven't found it! Love your card Bren! Perfectly girly!

Paper = worth the effort!! It's the perfect paper for that image and the sentiment. I've never seen it in Australia, mind you we've only just got Mariposa! It's gorgeous and I love the thing you've done with the "extra" shoe inside, very clever and effective (may have to "borrow" that idea, lol.
