Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge April Applications

It is Tuesday again, so that means it is time for another April Applications Color Challenge at the Outlawz!!!  This week our inspiration was picked by Jenn. It is one of my favorite things!!
MMmmmmmmmmm, Cheesecake!! I don't know about you but this inspiration picture makes me want some cheesecake!!   The April Application is  Vanilla, brown sugar, and a touch or red.  Add sewing, either machine, hand or stamps!  I decided to use one of my all time favorite stamps by CC Designs, Cocoa Emma.  The sentiment is from AmyR also from All That Scraps, Sassy Sentiments.
I just love these papers.  Both of the red papers are from Christmas lines but don't look Christmasy on this side of the paper.  Pretty sure they are My Mind's Eye!!
And the Copics today:
I hope you can find some time to make it over to the Challenge today.  We have a great sponsor this week.
We also have some great prizes in the month of April from both Oozak as well as SCACD.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge over at All That Scraps.

Thanks for stopping by today, please check back later for another great challenge at Anita Be Stampin!

Anita Be Stampin Blog Hop

It’s Anita Be Stampin Digi Release and Blog Hop day…Are you as excited as I am?   All of the new digi images are available NOW at Anita Be Stampin, and we are celebrating by having a blog hop filled with inspiration.  Be sure to visit all of the stops on the blog hop today, because one lucky winner who comments on EVERY blog along the way will win the entire digi release.  Gotta love that!  Besides you will want to see what the amazing design team have come up with for the hop!  I love every one of the new releases but I really love Ariana.  As soon as I saw her I knew I wanted to create with her!

I am so excited to share with you my project with Ariana.  She is so gorgeous and I decided to color her up with my favorite colors!  I used some of my favorite papers from My Minds Eye as well as some fabulous Wild Orchid Craft flowers and lace.
Don't you just love the Fairy Sentiments as well?  There are 12 sentiments with the set.
The inside is pretty simple with some more yummy paper. And the Copics I used on my project:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  The next stop on the hop is Denise.   Remember to leave a comment on every blog on the hop by Sunday, April 10th at 12:01 am CST for your chance to win all of the ABS digi images released today.  Here is the list of all of the stops on the hop today, just in case you get lost along the way:

Happy hopping!
While you are at it, grab a digi and play along with the challenge this week. It is not over until Monday night, you have plenty of time!

April Showers Challenge

I don't know about the weather where you all are, but here in Oregon we have been breaking records with so many days in a row with rain.  Hopefully all this rain will not follow into our April!!  Even if the saying is April showers, to be honest with you I am all rained out!!
Our challenge this week is "umbrella".  Your project must have at least one umbrella somewhere on it.
I kind of cheated, I was torn between these fabulous papers from My Mind's Eye.  One has umbrella's and one has rain.  I chose to use the rain for the front and added the umbrella paper to the inside of the card.
The image that we are playing with this challenge is Ben.  Isn't he cute?  Guylou draws most of her digi-stamps from memories when she was younger.  Love this cute stamp.  I added polka dots to his umbrella. On this card I did some distressing to the papers. The sentiment set is from AmyR at All That Scraps. Love it!  I also used the cloud shaped nestability from Spellbinders.  Some rain drops and a square brad and there is my card!
And of course to show you my umbrella paper lets look at the inside of the card.
The winner of the challenge will be awarded two digistamps of your choice from Guylou's Inimtability Store and will also be invited to be a Guest Designer on an upcoming challenge.  Please make sure to follow the Challenge Policy listed in the left margin as it has recently changed.
I hope you will join in the challenge.  It runs from today through April 21st at 10PM EST.

Anita Be Stampin New Release

Good Morning!  I am so excited to show you a new digital image that will be released at Anita Be Stampin, tomorrow Friday April 8th.  Not only will we have new releases but we are going to have a blog hop to showcase all of them tomorrow.  So I hope you will come back.  Today the design team will be showing you 2 of the new releases.  Meadow is the image that I used and Amberlee you will find on some of the other Design Team members blogs are gorgeous, somewhat sexy fairies that I know you will love.  There is also a sentiment set as well.  Come back tomorrow to hop along and someone will win all of the images for free!!!  Here is my card with Meadow.  As soon as I saw the images I knew I wanted to play with Meadow. I love her wings!

I got this gorgeous lace from Wild Orchid Crafts and couldn't wait to add it to my card.
The spray with crystals came from Michaels, it was part of a wreath that I bought specifically to rip apart and add to cards!!
I added stickles to her wings without any extra color to make them look transparent but sparkly.
The inside is more of the same gorgeous paper that I used on the front.  The Copic colors are as follows.
I am so glad that you stopped by today. If you head on over to the Anita Be Stampin Challenge site we have a challenge going on right now.  The links to the other design team members is right here on my side bar.  Oh and just a reminder of the other images available.

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #15

It is Tuesday again and that means it is another Challenge over at Anita Be Stampin.  This weeks inspiration is brought to you by Tracy.    She chose a fabulous color palette for us this week.  I happen to know that orange is one of her favorite colors so I am not surprised to find it here!

I chose to use the stamp set Celebration Cooper.  I had a blast with him.  This awesome set comes with 6 different sentiments and I actually used 3 of them on my card.  I was inspired by the sentiment, "Birthday Moo-la" and made a card for some "Moo-la".

This paper from My Mind's Eye, Sophie Clever collection is actually brown with an orange graph.  I added some glossy accents to the balloon, eyes, and flower.  I used my Cropodile to add eyelets to the 4 corners of my accent paper and then threaded my sheer polka dot ribbon through.

I made a tri-fold card and added a velcro dot to keep it closed.  I had fun with sewing, distressing, and inking on here.

I made a little pocket on the inside for the "Moo-la"!    I hope you enjoy my card, I had a lot of fun making it!!
Now, why don't you hop on over to the Anita Be Stampin Blog and check out all the other fabulous creations by the design team.  While you are there check out the rules for our challenge and jump right in!!
I would love to see what you come up with this week!
And I have a sneak peak for you....We have a blog hop coming up on Friday that you don't want to miss.  Here is a little sneak peak!  I will be back to show you more on Thursday the day before the hop.

Thanks for stopping by, you know I love visitors!

The Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge

Well it is Tuesday again and that means it is time for another Color Challenge over at the Outlawz.  There is so much going on over at the Outlawz this month.  Oozak is giving away the COPIC ABS - Airbrush System Set #1 (winner pays shipping cost).  How fun is that?!!!  The Color Challenge is being sponsored by Shelly's Images.  The winner will receive a $12 gift certificate to her store.

Ok, so what is the color inspiration you want to know?  So you can get to crafting?  This weeks color inspiration was picked by me.  The March Madness is to add distressing to your card.
Turquoise and Brown are one of my favorite color combos.  Do you ever find that gorgeous paper that you just don't want to cut?  I bought this gorgeous paper from My Mind's Eye , Lost and Found collection.  It was just gorgeous so I chose to make a Clean And Simple card and showcase the paper!
Isn't that gorgeous paper?  Love it!!
It has silver glitter on it. Here is a closeup, hopefully you can see the sparkle.
And you know I have to show you the inside. I made it pretty simple.
What do you say? Wanna play along?  Oh did I say there were several prizes?  There is also going to be a $25 gift certificate from Susana's Custom Art and Card Designs.  I would say there are 3 good reasons to head on over and play with us this week!!

I have a winner

Wow, I was so pleased to see the response to my blog candy.  Now that it is over, I hope you will all continue stopping by, I love visitors!!!  Now on to the prize...... first off, I would love for someone to give me a tutorial on selecting a winner on Inlinkz!!!  I tried over and over to get it to come out with a winner, and all the entries said, not a winner.  Could not figure it out for the life of me and really, I just wanted to get on with it!!!  So I did it the old fashioned way and you all will just have to trust that I did it honestly!!  I put numbers from 0 to 9 in 2 piles and picked from one and then the other.  Here are the results.
Ok, so number 30 is Dana from http://danasinspirations.blogspot.com/.  I have been browsing Danas blog since around October of last year. She has fabulous projects as well as tutorials.  She has also been a follower of my blog for some time.  This was one of those times that you go, "yeah...it is someone I know really follows me", and then you go "Oh crap, will people really believe that I picked someone who so frequently stops by my blog."  But the answer is yes, Dana you are the winner!!  I know you already have these pencils maybe you will add them to your next blog candy! LOL.  Please send me your snail mail address and this candy is on its way to you!!
Again, thanks so much for playing along, it was fun!!
