Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge ~ Sept 27th

It is time for another Tuesday Color Challenge over at The Outlawz.  The colors this week are so much fun!!! I got my new stamps for Christmas from Some Odd Girl this week and just couldn't wait to ink them up.  So I decided to use the colors from our challenge this week and the inspiration photo for the Some Odd Girl Challenge and combine them.  This is what I came up with.

The colors for this weeks challenge are gorgeous!!!

The Spectacular September twist was to add something crocheted.  My flower was a little too light pink so I added some RV 17 and some colorless blender in a plastic baggie and smushed the flower into the color.

I am going to share 2 inspiration photo's. This first photo is from The Outlawz and is our color inspiration for this challenge.

The next photo is from the Some Odd Girl Challenge.

My inspiration was the wreath shape.  I used the packages from Gifty Gwen and the ornaments from Tree Trimming Kaylee to make my wreath.  The wreath didn't quite turn out like I wanted it to but oh well.  Let's see some more pics.  :)  Here is the front of the card.  I used my air compressor and some BG-13 around the image.  IRL the blue is so much blue-er!

I used a Martha Stewart branch punch to put behind my package/ornament wreath.   The papers are from a last years My Minds Eye line.

Ooh, and don't you love that little Melissa Frances frame?  That was a birthday gift from my friend Dana.  The sentiment is part of the stamp set Gifty Gwen.

Don't forget to come on over to the Outlawz for the 1000 member party next week.  There is so much planned.   And lots of prizes!!!

I am going to enter my card into the following challenges.

Hooked on Craft challenge is use ribbon and lace.
iCopic Lover has red hair. I did a strawberry blonde using e-97, e-99 with my e-51 and e-53.
Incy Wincy Designs has fancy folds.
Magical Monday Challenge has Christmas in September.
My Craft Spot has use ribbon.
vostamps has make an easel card.
Come and Get it Challenges has easel card for the challenge.

Cute card and image. Unfortunately, you didn't use a "Magical" character (Angel, Fairy, Mermaid, Dragon, etc), so it doesn't qualify for the Magical Monday challenge. You still have through Sunday if you would like to try again.

More gorgeousness! The colours are great...it's good that you could fit them to TWO challenges :-) I love your wreath; I do know what you mean about it not looking like you thought it would...but as I don't know what that was, to me it looks exactly right!! You know you're responsible for me parting with more of my hard-earneds now I've seen this great release (at least they're Christmas stamps, you can't have too much Christmas, right?) Dee
