Anita Be Stampin Blog Hop and Release

It's Anita Be Stampin Digi Release and Blog Hop day.  Are you ready?  All of the new releases are now available over at the Anita Be Stampin Store.  We are celebrating by having a Blog Hop.  There is so much inspiration along the way, you will want to visit every blog to check it out.  One lucky person that comments on every blog will win the entire new release. How fun is that?  Now if you came here from Anita's fabulous blog then you are on the right track.  If not you will want to head back to the ABS Challenge Blog where all the fun starts.  Now time for my creations.  I played with two of the new images. The first one is Sandy Clause.

And the second image is called Elfira.

Both of these sentiments are from AmyR over at All That Scraps from last years Christmas sentiments.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  The next stop on the hop is Dee's Blog.   Remember to leave a comment on every blog on the hop by Sunday, Nov. 13th at 12:01 am CST for your chance to win all of the ABS digi images released today.  Here is the list of all of the stops on the hop today, just in case you get lost along the way:

We are back!!

Our summer vacation is over!!  We took a little break over at Anita Be Stampin, but we are back with a new challenge.  We are ready to start seeing your fabulous projects again.  We have a brand new challenge for you with the release of Broomhilda and Frankenbride in digital format.  The challenge is to make a Spooky Halloween themed project.  I played with Broomhilda this week.

I don't have any Halloween themed paper so I used this black and cream paper, sewed along the edges in orange, added some orange paper, ribbon and button and a sentiment from The Cutting Cafe.  Now I would love to see what you have for us!

Anita is starting the challenges back up with a Bang!! This first challenge will have a $25 ABS gift certificate for the winner.  The challenges will now require you to use an ABS image on your project.  You will want to check out the rules in the side bar of the challenge blog.

Don’t have any ABS images yet, but you want a chance to win? No worries! You can always join the Anita Be Stampin Papercraft Planet group where members have access to a free digi image.
Also, for a very limited time you can snag the Batty digi image absolutely FREE at www.anitabestampin.com This cute bat image is perfect for this week’s challenge! ;)

Now I am going to add this to the challenge at
iCopic has orange and black

Anita Be Stampin Recipe Challenge

This is my second post for today.  If you are here for the Outlawz, that is in the post below.
But now it is time for another Challenge at Anita Be Stampin.  This week we have a Recipe for you.
How fun is that?  I rarely do recipe challenges, now I am wondering why.  This one was a lot of fun.  I used the fabulous Busty Betsy.  From the site:

100% of the proceeds from Busty Betsy digi image sales will benefit Susan G. Komen For The Cure.  By purchasing this digi you are not only supporting a cause close to all of our hearts (literally!), you are receiving a super cute digi to play with.  It's a win, win!

I think that is fabulous!!!  If you have ever gone through Breast Cancer with someone you love this cause becomes near and dear to your heart.
All the papers here are Making Memories.  I had to cut that background paper so that Believe would be in the corner of the card.  The tag is a magnolia tag.  I put a little R-81 reinker with some blending solution on the little felt pad and stained my tag with that.  Then added another believe stamp to that tag.
I added a gorgeous Wild Orchids flower to the bow.  I used my favorite colors this week.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Don't forget to check out the other design team members inspiration cards today.  And join us in the challenge.

Anita Be Stampin Challenge 23~Shaped Card

Hey there everyone, here we are for another Anita Be Stampin Challenge.  This week we are challenging you to make a Shaped card.  There is a twist this week, to add buttons.  Now I know not all of the Design Team Members did this, so it is up to you.   I love to do shaped cards.  I love to use my Grand Calibur, just wish I had more Grand Nesties!!  They are on my wish list for sure!!  This challenge I used Tallulah.
Don't you just love this GORGEOUS paper by Cosmo Cricket?  I love the purses and the gorgeous colors in this paper.  I started with my image, picked my papers and then my colors to match the paper.   The Happy Birthday stamp is  LOTV circular sentiments.  And that gorgeous lace is Wild Orchid Crafts.   Love it!!
I distressed all the edges of the card.  Do you see the cute paper on the inside?  So cute.  I recently hit a sale where all those 6X6 paper pads were $3.99.  Yup, I got a few!!!  Here are the Copic colors I used on this card.
I hope you can find some time to join us in the challenge at Anita Be Stampin.  We are still on the Bi~weekly schedule, so you have some time!!

I am adding this card to the challenge over at Paper Sundaes Challenge~Girly Girl.
Clearlyistamp challenge is distressing.

Color Challenge at the Outlawz

Can you all believe it is Tuesday already.  My weekend flew by and then my Monday was, well a Monday!!!
Now here I am getting my post up late!!  First of all we are extending our challenge from last week at Anita Be Stampin.  So you have one more week to get your creations with pearls and lace in.  That means that I don't have a new creation for the ABS blog.  Soooo, I thought I would use an ABS image for my
Tuesday Color Challenge at the Outlawz this week.  Have you seen all the fabulous prizes we are giving away for the month of May?  Better head on over there this week and check them out!
Gotta love these fun colors for the Challenge this week! Here is your Inspiration picture.
Your Mahvelous May twist is to add flowers this week.  How easy is that?!!
Well, believe it or not, these colors were a challenge. You know me, I like to start with the paper and go from there. I couldn't find any paper that qualified with these colors.  Not even my My Mind's Eye Stash! LOL.  So I had to play around and come up with something.  The DCWV all about girls papers had these fabulous purses and shoes in the pineapple color, so I went from there and made a circle card.
Now my pinks are not that bright but they are pink!  In fact I could not get the brightness with my camera of any of the colors.
I used a pink Cherry Blossom from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I think the thing that surprised me the most about ordering from them is that the shipping is not too bad. And the prices on the flowers is definitely worth it!!
Now, that you have seen my card I want to share some fun news coming up soon at the Outlawz.
We are getting ready to Party again.  Did you come to our party last time?  We know how to Party at the Outlawz.  There will be all kinds of prizes again.

Looking forward to seeing your creations.  Come on out and join us!!

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #21

It is Tuesday again and time for another fabulous challenge over at Anita Be Stampin.  So excited to play with  pearls and lace for this challenge.

Now I know a lot of you hopped along a few weeks ago when we were showcasing the new fairies over at Anita Be Stampin Store.  I decided to use Ariana again this week.  I thought she would be gorgeous with lace and pearls.
The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the flowers.  This gorgeous paper is from....you guessed it, My Mind's Eye!!!  I can't help myself, I love all their paper!!
And check out the inside.  I used a Martha Stewart around the edges punch as well as more of that gorgeous lace and of course the pearls.
The copics I used on this image are as follows:
These RV's are some of the newer copics.  Did you hear that Copics are going up in price in August.  I have been trying to get what I need before then.  Not sure though that I will ever have everything I need!!
What do you say?  Are you gonna give the challenge a try this week?  You need to head on over and check out all the fabulous projects by the design team this week.

The iCopic challenge this week is blonde hair.  I always use E's now for my blond hair.

And don't forget, since it is Tuesday, check out my other post today for the Tuesday Outlawz Color Challenge.

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #19

ABS19 Color Challenge by Rachel_5-3-2011

It is Tuesday and time for another Anita Be Stampin Challenge.  This weeks challenge is a color inspiration challenge.  This color challenge came from Rachel's shirt.  Teal Blue, Smokey Plum, Purple, and Sage Green.  Here is Rachel's Shirt!!

I wanted to do something a little different this week.  So I printed off Meadow and colored her up.  I have had this large letter "P" hanging on my board in my craft room for well over a year.  My oldest Granddaughter is named Peighton and I bought this on clearance one day and had not done anything with it yet.  I thought she would love Meadow so I painted it with a smokey plum color, added some paper that I have had in my stash forever that fits the color scheme and mod podged it on.  I added some iridescent medium to Meadow's wings as well as some of the flowers on the paper.
Only thing is, this thing is hard to photograph!!  I also made a huge mistake, I had the image completely colored and cut, and I messed up her eye and couldn't fix it.  So, I decided to pop dot her face, add another wing and make the image 3-D as well.  I had spent way too much time coloring to throw it away!!
I added some Wild Orchid flowers, some Recollection flowers from M's and here it is!!  I hope Peighton likes it. I have a feeling she will.  She is a girlie girl that will be 5 next month.

I hope you can find some time to play along this week.  You can find all these gorgeous fairies over at the Anita Be Stampin Store.  We only need one more member over at Papercraftplanet to get another free digi image.  There are 2 there now.  See, no reason why not to enter the challenge this week!!  And we are getting ready for another release later on this week so I hope you will come on back later to check out my projects!

Remember this is my second post today, check out my earlier post for the Outlawz Color challenge.   As always, thanks for stopping by today!

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #18

It is Tuesday and you know what that means?  Yup, another Anita Be Stampin Challenge.  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. I got to see all 5 of my grandbabies.  My son and daughter in law are due in the next 2 weeks with my second grandson.  Looking forward to that.  Anyways, this week we have another great sketch from our very own Jen.  She has supplied us with a great sketch this week.
Isn't that fun?  There are lots of layers on this one.  I decided to use my Rosie Shops set this week.  I got a lovely surprise from my friend Gina this week. She found one of my favorite paper packs from DCWV at Marshalls and surprised me with it!!  Just love that girl!!  Anyways, as soon as I saw it I knew I had to play with Rosie Shops so I can use some of the fabulous papers!!  This is such a great set, you get 6 sentiments and shoes, and charge cards, and of course Rosie!!
I decided to sew all my layers together with a deep pink thread.  I paper pieced my shopping bag.  Here is a good view of how many layers and how it is popped up.
We have some new design team members at Anita Be Stampin.  I hope you will check out all the talent of the "new" and "old" design team.  I am happy to say that Anita asked me to stick around for the next design team term.

I hope you will join us this week for the challenge.  The more entries we have, the more chances you have to win a prize!!!  All the rules are posted over on the challenge site.
Well, I wish I could put the pot on and share a cup of coffee and some chat with you!!
Also, don't forget to check out my other post this morning!

Hey ladies, we only need 5 more followers at Paper Craft Planet for Anita to give us another freebie. Anyone out there not a member yet?  Come on ladies! :)

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #17

Happy Tuesday!!!  It is time for another Anita Be Stampin Challenge.  Wow, we had a lot of participants last week with our Anything Goes challenge.  Hope you had time to play along.  This week our very own Jen supplied us with a sketch.

I decided to use my Bears & Bunches for my card this week.  This is a great set. You get 2 images and 3 sentiments with this set.  I wanted to try something new. I have never done a monochromatic card.  I used all E's on this card.  iCopic is having a challenge this week using the theme monochromatic, so I think I will enter this in the challenge over there.

I hope you will stop by Anita Be Stampin Challenge this week and enter the sketch challenge.  We have several prizes up for grabs. The more that play, the more prizes there are!!  The design team once again have done some awesome inspiration projects.  Head on over and take a look!!

I also want to enter this card at Copic Creations this week.  Their question is what is your favorite paper for copics?  I think my very favorite is X-press it.   I also love Neenah. This image was colored on Neenah.   There is a poll over there this week, you may want to check it out, they are giving away a gift certificate to the Paper Temptress so you can try your own!

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #16

It is Tuesday and time for another Anita Be Stampin Challenge!!  This is my second post today so I would love it if you would check out the Outlawz challenge I posted earlier!

Today is one of the easiest challenges ever!!  It is an Anything Goes Challenge.  I decided to step out of the box (literally) pun intended! And not do just another card this week.  I did 4 mini cards and a box to put them in.  This was fun.  I used to do these types of things more often.  I hope you enjoy my project this week.

OK, that is enough pictures!!  I just really had a lot of fun with this little project.  Once again I used
Rosie's Sweets from Anita Be Stampin.  Make sure that you head over to the challenge and check out what the other amazing Design Team Members have made this week.  They are pretty fantastic!

I am also going to enter this into the Card Sets Challenge in the Moxie Fab World!!  The challenge is to make a set of cards to give away.  You should play along!!

Anita Be Stampin New Release

Good Morning!  I am so excited to show you a new digital image that will be released at Anita Be Stampin, tomorrow Friday April 8th.  Not only will we have new releases but we are going to have a blog hop to showcase all of them tomorrow.  So I hope you will come back.  Today the design team will be showing you 2 of the new releases.  Meadow is the image that I used and Amberlee you will find on some of the other Design Team members blogs are gorgeous, somewhat sexy fairies that I know you will love.  There is also a sentiment set as well.  Come back tomorrow to hop along and someone will win all of the images for free!!!  Here is my card with Meadow.  As soon as I saw the images I knew I wanted to play with Meadow. I love her wings!

I got this gorgeous lace from Wild Orchid Crafts and couldn't wait to add it to my card.
The spray with crystals came from Michaels, it was part of a wreath that I bought specifically to rip apart and add to cards!!
I added stickles to her wings without any extra color to make them look transparent but sparkly.
The inside is more of the same gorgeous paper that I used on the front.  The Copic colors are as follows.
I am so glad that you stopped by today. If you head on over to the Anita Be Stampin Challenge site we have a challenge going on right now.  The links to the other design team members is right here on my side bar.  Oh and just a reminder of the other images available.

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #15

It is Tuesday again and that means it is another Challenge over at Anita Be Stampin.  This weeks inspiration is brought to you by Tracy.    She chose a fabulous color palette for us this week.  I happen to know that orange is one of her favorite colors so I am not surprised to find it here!

I chose to use the stamp set Celebration Cooper.  I had a blast with him.  This awesome set comes with 6 different sentiments and I actually used 3 of them on my card.  I was inspired by the sentiment, "Birthday Moo-la" and made a card for some "Moo-la".

This paper from My Mind's Eye, Sophie Clever collection is actually brown with an orange graph.  I added some glossy accents to the balloon, eyes, and flower.  I used my Cropodile to add eyelets to the 4 corners of my accent paper and then threaded my sheer polka dot ribbon through.

I made a tri-fold card and added a velcro dot to keep it closed.  I had fun with sewing, distressing, and inking on here.

I made a little pocket on the inside for the "Moo-la"!    I hope you enjoy my card, I had a lot of fun making it!!
Now, why don't you hop on over to the Anita Be Stampin Blog and check out all the other fabulous creations by the design team.  While you are there check out the rules for our challenge and jump right in!!
I would love to see what you come up with this week!
And I have a sneak peak for you....We have a blog hop coming up on Friday that you don't want to miss.  Here is a little sneak peak!  I will be back to show you more on Thursday the day before the hop.

Thanks for stopping by, you know I love visitors!

Anita Be Stampin Challenge #14

Can you believe that March is almost over?  I can't believe it!!  This year is flying by!  It is Tuesday again which means it is time for another Anita Be Stampin Challenge.  This week we have a fabulous sketch brought to us by Jen.  I will say it again.  I love a great sketch!
For this challenge I got to ink up Rosie from Rosies Sweets.  This set has 11 stamps, including 6 sentiments.  Love that.
I love this paper with the pink and grey pattern. I thought it would be a good apron print so I paper pieced it on the image. I used a little scribbles paint on the cupcake.  The ribbon is a silver sheer that I just love.  I had fun sewing on here. I usually use straight lines, but thought I would try the curvy sewing and I like how it turned out!
The inside is pretty simple today with lots of space for writing.  I sent this card out in the mail today.  I recently had 2 surgeries, one in December and one in January.  There is a lady in our accounts payable department that I have never met in real life, but she has been such a help to me getting things caught up while I was out. Hope she likes it!
Ok, now I would love to see what you all can create with this fabulous sketch!  We have a new prize structure over at Anita Be Stampin starting today.  It gives more people chances to win some awesome prizes. I know I say this every week, but I want you to know how fabulous these stamps are!  They are such high quality, I just love them!!

Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1-5 participants=$5 prize ($5 Anita Be Stampin gift certificate awarded to 1 participant), 6-10 participants=$10 in prizes ($5 Anita Be Stampin gift certificate awarded to 2 participants), 11+ participants=$15 in prizes ($5 Anita Be Stampin gift certificate awarded to 3 participants).  Worth it?  I think so, now come play along!
