Give Thanks Challenge

I am a little late on my blog today.  I lost a very precious woman in my life this week. My Aunt Barb. She passed away Monday morning very peacefully.  We found out that she had cancer on October 8th and she was gone Nov 1st at 4AM.  Since we are concentrating on Giving Thanks over at guylous inimitability , I thought it would be fitting to tell how much I have been giving thanks this week for the life that my Aunt Barb lived.  She lived to 73 years old.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, aunt, and friend.   I have been out of town the last 3 days, spending time with family without my craftroom so I don't have a new creation for you today.  My Aunt Barb was one of many crafters in my family. She was a scrapbooker, crocheter, baker, and a wonderful cook.  I was lucky to have her in my life.

I am going to share 2 projects that I have previously shared that I used Guylou's digital stamps on.  The pumpkins in the wheelbarrow and the fence with the pumpkins are such awesome background sets.  Look around at the other design team cards and you will see it used with some Magnolias or CC Designs stamps as well as other of Guylou's images.

On this little project I printed the image twice and popped the pumpkins out!

Guylou is doing a Give Thanks Challenge.  Click on this link and it will take you to Guylou's blog.  The challenge requires you to use one of Guylou's images, you can find them here at her store or if you join the CDAC group you will receive a free digital image.
We would love to have you join us in the Challenge this week.  The challenge begins today and runs through November 18th.  As always, thanks for stopping by, wish you could stop in and share a pot of coffee with me!!

Brenda, my condolences! Reading your story makes me realize how thankful we must be having people we love around us.

You made nice projects!

beautiful card and project, Bren! I love how you popped out the pumpkins on the first one and set the CC designs image on the pumpkins instead of the fence.

So sorry to hear about your Aunt. It is wonderful that she was such a creative person and you were able to share that with her! HUGS
