Guylou's Inimitability New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Guylou's Inimitability May New Release Blog Hop and Challenge.  If you have come here from Guylou's you are right on track. If you haven't check out the links at the bottom of this post for the list of the hop. There is a lot to see today so hang in there.

We are so happy to finally show you GI new digistamps. We are finally seeing some signs of spring so Guylou has brought us a fabulous series of stamps to go along with one of my favorite images.

Leah in her garden series

I was supposed to bring you Leah with Coffee, but I got carried away with mine!! I decided to use all of the Leah series and make my mom a Mother's Day Gift.   I started out with making a Pizza Box.
I incorporated my shaker box for the challenge onto the lid of the box.
The shaker was pretty easy to make.
First off I cut out the top of the shaker .
I then cut a piece of plastic from some plastic packaging. Can we say Recycle!!
I  cut a piece for the bottom of the shaker box.
I added foam to the plastic circle.
Added some glitter and flower soft and put the two pieces together.
Colored all of my images.  And now I got to work assembling my cards.  The first card is the actual card using the original Leah image that I made as my Mother's Day Card.

Then I put together the same design with all 4 of the new releases.
And there you have it, my gift for my mom.  They are all the A5 size.  The paper is Kraft as well as My Minds Eye.  The tag is a Whimsy stamp set that I love.  I figured you can never have enough thank you cards.

Now back to the Blog hop.
Three random winners will be selected from the entries (the winners must leave a comment on all the participating blogs).

Your hop will be as follows:
Brenda (You are here)
Have fun hopping!!

Now, don't forget along with the hop is a Challenge and all the details are on the Challenge Blog.    But you must add a shaker box to it.  You can use my tutorial above or Guylou will guide you over to a youtube video.  Hope today's post wasn't too long!!

Your mom is one lucky lady. What a fab gift. I love how you make boxes for all of your card sets. It's so pretty and put together. And what a great idea to use all of the Leah images, for a matching set but also allowing each card to be slightly different. You go with your bad gift making self.

Oh my goodness Bren...what an incredible idea for a gift! Your mom is going to be over the moon when she gets it. Not only is it a gift from the heart, but something that she can show off of how incredibly talented her dd is! She may have a very difficult time giving any of those gorgeous cards away though lol. Your color choices are so perfect for those wonderful new (and old)Leah images. And your coloring of them is fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful idea and fabulous cards with us.
