Sketch Challenge at Guylou's Inimitability

It is time for another challenge over at Guylou's Inimitability.  What is your favorite challenge?  I think the easiest challenge for me is a sketch challenge. I however take sketches pretty literally so they are easy.  Carmen provided a fabulous sketch for us for this challenge.  I used Leah and Bra on my card today. It comes with the sentiment.  I think this is an awesome image for someone battling breast cancer or just a great image for a girlfriend card.
Isn't this gorgeous paper? I love this kit.  Who doesn't love anything pink? It is pretty much a perfect color!!  The paper is from Making Memories.  I found it on clearance at M's one day for like $2.  I bought 3.  Of course I did, I am obsessive like that! Why get one on a bargain when you can buy 3!!
For my inking I used CTMH's Tulip ink.  Love that color. It matched this paper perfectly.  You know I need to show you the inside, right?!
Now, do you think you can follow a sketch?  If you can you should join us over at Guylou's.   The random winner will receive not only a gift certificate to the store but also an invite to be a guest designer on an upcoming challenge.  This challenge will go until September 1st.  I will let you check out the sketch over at G's!

Let me see if I can add this to some challenges now.

Craft us Crazy has Anything Goes.  And woot woot for a top 3 in last weeks challenge!!
Paper~Crafting Journey has anything goes.

Love it and the image really made me giggle! G really did great with this one!! Great coloring as always and you always put me to shame with the way you finish off the insides. Maybe one of these days : )
Blogger is not playing nice, it didn't post your pic of the sketch.

This is so fab, Bren!! I just LOVE those papers!!! If I was you I would have absolutely gotten 3! Especially when they're on clearance...the next time you need/want them you might not have been able to find them. Your card is just phenomenal. Great job!

Bren... this is absolutely precious. That's exactly what I had in mind when I drew her. You could not find more perfect papers!!! What a deal too!! I need to find deals like that in T.O.... someone can dream!! I am like you when it comes to sketch; I usually take them literally and that makes things much easier. Fabulous job as always! :)
Cheers!

Bren, I love how the "beat the odds" sentiment looks underlined due to the placement of the rik rak. Love these papers, too! Leah looks great with highlights in her hair. I had to laugh at the bargain thing because you know that I do the same exact thing!! If I find something cheap, I have to buy every last pack they have there. LOL

Great card Brenda: I love that paper, never seen it before - and being on sale means it's PERFECT. Cute image too, I can see lots of applications for it - beautifully coloured of course! Having the sentiment come with it is great too. I really like the way you've finished the inside too, clever placement of "beat the odds". Love a good sketch, I'm off to check it out, Dee xx
