All good things must come to an end!

That is what they say isn't it?  I can't believe that my time as Guest Design Team member over at All That Scraps is over.  What it also means is that we are already two months into this new year.  Tomorrow will be March already.  OK, did you hear that, March, it is time to quit snowing already and start warming up!!  We don't get much snow in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. We have had our share of icy roads this year, that is for sure!  Oh wait, I got off the subject.  I was going to show you my last two cards for the All That Scraps Blog.  I really had fun with the new releases and this first card showcases the Swiss Pixie Bouquet Basket stamp.  I used some gorgeous My Minds Eye paper, imagine that!  I just loved these colors and thought I would make my basket green instead of your usual brown.
I used the Tags it Rubber stamp and die set to create the Celebrate tag.  I added some Recollections roses from Michaels.  Now it wasn't my intention to cut out this basket by hand. Have you ever had a copic drop a huge drop of ink on something you colored?  I was almost done with this image, my very last flower and I got a huge glob of purple ink on it. I had no choice but to cut it out.  Or scrap it!! Well that wasn't going to happen!!  I also used glossy accents on the flowers.
The second card that I made for you uses one of my favorite stamps.  This Swiss Pixie Nurse Nora is available in either Rubber of Digital format.  I have her in the rubber format.  I really love to ink them up.
I used some Martha Stewart glitter on her wings.  Isn't that paper the cutest?  It is from My Mind's Eye. Imagine that!!  I always gravitate to their paper because it is thick and textured and I love that!  I used the AmyR Get Well Sentiments set for the sentiment on this card.  I am pretty sure there is a fabulous sentiment set for anything you want by AmyR!!  Love them!  I find myself gravitating to them all the time!!
Did I mention I got my new toy on Friday?  I did it, I bought the Grand Calibur and OH MY GOODNESS, I love it!!!!   You can put several dies in the machine at once.  This card was cut using a Grand Spellbinder Label 1.  The card is 5.5 inches.
As always, I love having you stop by, wish we could share a cup of coffee or tea and chat!!

Dammit, Brenda! You are making me want that darned Grand Caliber machine. Knock it off, woman!!! Anyway, as always, great papers and embellies. I have had my copics bleed like that and totally ruin an image. Now I look to see if the tips are too wet and if they are, I take off the cap from both ends for 30 seconds or so, which lets it equalize. I'm so glad you could save your basket image, because that card is wonderful.

OMG Brenda---You totally rocked both of these cards! They are super fabulous and I am soooo inspired by everything you create! Fabulous paper choices, and the basket you created is GORJUSS!! I really love that sentiment on the get well card - I think I might just have to go take a peek at Amy's stuff - you make everything look so good ;)
